From the old railway station in Waimes, the Vennbahn takes you through lush green and gently undulating hills. An ideal location for paddocks, which you can marvel at by the woodland area of Wolfsbusch. The aroma of freshly smoked Ardennes ham wafts towards you as you cycle towards Montenau. In Born, the route leads you under the imposing Freiherr-von-Korff viaduct and then onwards to the lively little town of St. Vith. Here at the local history museum (Heimatmuseum) "Between Venn und Schneifel" you can immerse yourself in the chequered past of the Vennbahn.
