Starter packs and prices
Before getting on the Stoneman track, each participant has to sign up. In order to do so, just buy one of the starter packages on stoneman-arduenna.com and pick it up in your official distribution point the day of your ride.
Several pack options are available, including the Stoneman Classic pack. It contains the starter card and the entry in the finisher list, as well as a lanyard, a starter bag, a map, a wristband, a multifunctional scarf and other giveaways.

Easy luggage transfer
If you complete the Stoneman Arduenna in 2 or 3 days, luggage transport can be organised between the accommodation partners. On each stage, your luggage will be collected from your starting accommodation and will be ready for you at your next accommodation in the evening.
Please note: luggage transfer only takes place between official Stoneman partner accommodations where you have booked overnight stays.

The Stoneman Arduenna is not a race, but a marathon course which can be negotiated in 1-3 days, depending on how fit you are. Anyone who manages the circuit will be listed as a finisher on the website www.stoneman-arduenna.com and win a Stoneman trophy designed by former MTB pro Roland Stauder himself. This unique adventure is ideal for mountain bikers who act responsibly towards nature.

The GPX track is included in each of the 3 starter package variants. When registering on www.stoneman-arduenna.com, make sure to enter your email address correctly. The GPX track will be automatically sent to you three days before your start. (In some cases, this email may end up in the spam folder.)
If you stay at one of the official Stoneman partner accommodations on the first night, you can receive your starter package there.
Otherwise, there are 3 official pickup locations available:

Several shelters along the route are available for daytime rest or picnics. However, it is not allowed to stay overnight as wild camping is prohibited in Belgium.
For those who still wish to camp along the Stoneman, there are several campsites available in East Belgium.
In East Belgium, many accommodations are well-equipped for bicycles and e-bikes. Particularly bike-friendly accommodations are awarded the bed+bike label. They are happy to provide a power socket to charge tour e-bikes.

Our tip: Use the charging time for a meal or a refreshing drink in the restaurant/café of the establishment that provides you with a socket.
Ask at your first accommodation whether you can park your car there during the Stoneman ride. Otherwise, in larger towns along the route, there are free parking spaces that you can use.
The cities of Malmedy and St. Vith have divided parking spaces into different zones and have created corresponding overviews.
In Malmedy, the parking spaces marked in green are unlimited and free. On-site, they are also labeled as "gratuits" (free).
In Sankt Vith, the parking spaces marked as the "blue zone" are time-limited (parking disc). All other parking spaces are unlimited and free.
If you experience an emergency or accident while on the road, please remain calm and dial the emergency number 112 (ambulance and fire brigade). Explain to the emergency responders as accurately as possible where you are.
There are some sections of the route that pass through few villages, especially in the southern half. You should therefore top up your water reserves wherever possible.
There is a Flemish provider for an organized "Stoneman weekend".
During the "Stoneman Days", Roland Stauder, the inventor of the Stoneman, personally accompanies the group.
The Stoneman Arduenna is a marathon route that can be completed in 1-3 days, depending on your fitness level. The route is 176 kilometres long, has a total of 3900 metres in altitude and leads through the south of East Belgium.
The season runs from 15/04 to 15/09. The route is closed in fall and winter.
This can be challenging as it currently isn't allowed to carry bicycles on public buses.
By train, one can travel to the stations of Verviers, Eupen, or Trois Ponts.
