Description
Since 1958, Ortis Laboratories has been observing and researching the world of plants to develop health concepts that are 100% natural in origin, effective and safe to use. In 2002, the Belgian company, considered a pioneer in phytotherapy, decided to share its knowledge so that you can take the reins of your health every day and in a natural way.
This idea gave birth to "Herba Sana", the Ortis medicinal herb garden. Herba Sana was created on a 2-hectare site and includes more than 120 medicinal plants and a large natural area dedicated to the typical flora of the High Fens biotope. The 1 km didactic walk winds through the different areas and lets you discover the exceptional role of medicinal plants in maintaining health.
Guided tours for groups or suggested itineraries from ORTIS on request.
Conditions/supplements
We have opted for a voluntary entrance fee. This means that you can choose the rate that seems fairest to you. Why is that? Because we believe that everyone should be able to visit our garden according to their means.
All the income generated by visiting the Herba Sana garden goes to the non-profit association Patrimoine Nature, which is dedicated to nature conservation in the municipalities of Malmedy, Stavelot, Trois-Ponts and Waimes. These donations support the actions of the NPO.
