Raeren, Itertal, Lichtenbusch, Köpfchen, Dreiländerpunkt (the point where three borders converge), Vaals, Schneeberg, Orsbach: these are the milestones that are touched by the main axis of the border route network. This way, one single hiking trail combines many of the natural, landscape and cultural-historical sights that make the border region so attractive. The route runs through charming stream valleys and meadow landscapes, over the crests of hills and through woodland areas with quite different characters.
