    After starting at the market square in Bütgenbach, the route leads directly down to the tranquil Lake Bütgenbach. You can enjoy wonderful views of the lake from the street Liebesallee. The route then crosses the Ravel before turning left into the forest.  At the Wirtzfeld bridge, the route takes you along some trails through Plättscheid forest with alternating climbs and descents. Here you'll run on a section of the Fitness Trail and can integrate the various stations as you please. The tour then returns to Bütgenbach alongside the Ravel.

    The green tour is ideal for beginners and offers running treats for less experienced runners.

    On weekends, we recommend running this route early in the morning or late in the evening, when it is least busy.
