In a place where peace, warmth and friendliness are a common sight and where the magnificent nature of the High Fens and the Eifel overwhelm everyone, you will find the little village of Büllingen at 562 metres above sea level. Clean air, green pastures in summer and fairytale landscapes in winter are the characteristics of the Relaxhotel "Haus Tiefenbach".
Hospitality is written in capital letters in this house and peace can be found easily, as it is situated near a lake in the valley of the Tiefenbach. A wonderful time is guaranteed, no matter if your stay is planned to be long or short.
The story of House Tiefenbach began in 1965 when the father-in-law of the current owner, Helmut Lux, and some friends discovered their passion for trout fishing. Together, they built a simple hut on the lake, to keep fishing equipment, drinks and more. Soon, locals and tourists came and enjoyed this leisure activity with them. In order to accomodate these people, the hut was transformed into an inn: "Zur Goldenen Troelle". In 1975, the present hotel restaurant "Haus Tiefenbach" was built. The idyllic surroundings, as well as the cosy inn, attracted more and more holidaymakers and in 1988, Haus Tiefenbach was extended.
Today, it is a hotel with all comforts, a restaurant, the possibility to catch trout in the lake and an ideal holiday resort for everyone who wants to relax.
