You start at the Triangel, where you take the Vennbahn in the direction of the village Wiesenbach. From there, you head up to the educational planets walk and then on a steep trail to the “Volmersberg”. After a few trail sections, you ride along a larger path to Wallerode bridge. Here the tour leads you back into the forest and you follow a gravel path to the spot where the mill of the village Emmels had formerly been located. At the edge of the forest, awaits a root trail that demands your full concentration. You reach the hill "Am Schänzchen" via a trail through tall fern grass. The following descent takes you to the forest Wolfsbusch, where you join the “Wolfsbuschrunde” for a short stretch. A small tunnel takes you under the E42 motorway and on to a beautiful trail. After the street Kaiserbaracke, you ride to the slate galleries of the village Recht, then across the forest to the beer museum in Rodt and to an area named “Emmelserheide” by the locals. From here, it's not far to the finish line of your tour and you can let your bike coast to the outskirts of Sankt Vith. The beer garden at the Triangel is already waiting for you!
Author’s recommendation
Alongside the numerous cafés and restaurants in Sankt Vith, you might want to take a detour to the slate galleries in Recht or the beer museum in Rodt, both located within a short distance of your MTB tour.
Those who want to extend the tour can easily combine it with the tour "Wolfsbuschrunde".
