Jesse Redwing (Trio)
Jesse Redwing is one of Australia's most soulful and authentic blues musicians, whose honest and down-to-earth playing style goes down very well with audiences. We are delighted to welcome him and his trio back to St. Vith after the successful concert in January 2023.
In recent years, he has given countless concerts in Australia and played two US and European tours. He has supported artists such as Cedric Burnside, Jon Cleary, Cold Chisel, The Teskey Brothers and Ana Popovic. The track "Crawlin' Up the Walls" from Jesse's debut album "Comin' on" was included in the soundtrack of the Netflix series "Shooter". In summer 2022, Jesse released his second studio album "Light My Way", his 3rd album is expected in late 2024.
He is also guaranteed to inspire you with his contemporary interpretations of some blues legends. Whether solo or in a band - fans of no-frills, rousing 70s blues rock should definitely not miss the concert by Jesse Redwing and his trio at the Corso cinema!
Unfortunately, the band Blind Feat had to cancel at short notice, so the blues musician Robbert Duijf (winner of the European Blues Challenge 2024) will perform in the supporting programme. Robbert is an acoustic blues artist from the Netherlands who tells wonderful stories together with his guitar. With his clear voice and dedicated performance, he creates a deep connection with the audience. His music is a mixture of gospel and delta blues with a touch of British-American folk.
